I built a Mars Snooper in 1971. It cato'ed on the launch pad...man I was embarrassed, all the kids in the 6th grade rocket club had a good laugh. Now 40 years later I have one on my Christmas list. I can't wait to see if i'll get it! :D

I got the audio from the National Archives. I chopped it up to go with the launch video. The long pause toward the end is historically correct as all communication was lost after reentry. It is my understanding that a D12-3 , D12-5, or D12-7 all have the same power, but have different delay times for the ejection charge 3 seconds, 5 seconds, and 7 seconds respectively.
