Hey guys, I’m in the process of building the Estes cobra and I’ve run into a problem. I can’t seem to fit the wings on. The holes just aren’t lining up, and the glues dried so I can’t go back and make sure everything’s square. Any idea what I should do?

Yeah, I mean venturing ring, after sanding it down, it was able to fit.

I can’t seem to fit the adapter ring over the engine tube mount, anyone know what I should do?

I was wondering how rocket certification works. Like, why do you need it, and where can you get level one certified?

So, if your rocket doesn’t use a screw on retainer, but a clip, you can’t use Aerotech motors?

Yeah, I’m kinda having a hard time fitting the parachute in, I’ll try that cup method for some more room.

Tried it again with the same batteries and It took off quick and flew perfect

Yeah, I’m holding the launch button down for more than 10 secs, the batteries are all tested and have a good charge. I had this same issue a few weeks ago when I launched a different rocket, and it took multiple attempts and changing out motors and starters for it to finally launch.

My Estes Der Red Max just isn’t launching, the red light on the controller turns on when the key is pressed, and turns off when I press the launch button (as it should). Anyone have any idea why it might not be working?

I recently finished building Der Red Max and I noticed that there is little space between the nose one and the engine mount. How am I supposed to fit wadding and the parachute in there?

I was wondering if you could use this poly cement to assemble Der Red Max, or if I should use a wood glue. Just finished building it, had to use yellow as i didn’t have red.

Just took a look at the manual, and that makes sense.

Some of those AeroTech motors aren’t really cylinders like the Estes ones, does that change anything?
