Can’t get engine mount adapter ring on

I can’t seem to fit the adapter ring over the engine tube mount, anyone know what I should do?

can you be more specific? what adapter are you referring to? AP or LOC or some other?

Sand the hole evenly to widen it, frequently checking the fit. Stop when you get a snug fit. It's not uncommon for centering rings to be a little too tight. (I assume you mean centering ring instead of adapter ring?)

Yeah, I mean venturing ring, after sanding it down, it was able to fit.

Most manufacturers will err on the side of making parts fit too tightly, rather than too loosely. You can always sand it down, but you can't really build it up if it's too loose.
