Looking toward flying soon! 24mm-54mm Ladies in Waiting

Even more good advice. Just had blinders on for the Estes F class motors as that was what the kit called for!

Looking toward flying soon! 24mm-54mm Ladies in Waiting

I am my own worst enemy and plan to stay that way! If I have a personal "heads up" local flight planned I will not fly unless the rocket is "in hand" has been reviewed with full simulation data in hand by another NAR well experienced RSO from a sister NAR Section with weather flight parameters...

Looking toward flying soon! 24mm-54mm Ladies in Waiting

This is my black powder problem child. The rocket core is a highly modified Estes Ascender. The pods separate each powered by a C6-0 for the first flight. The booster fires a F15-0 and the sustainer a F15-8 . Designed for a 1010 8 foot rail launch however simulations on both Open Rocket and...

Wow this is what a modified Arreaux on a G72DM-14 can do!

For sure any G is full of pep but this sparky G was something special even to the experienced Level 2 and up HPR crowd.

Wow this is what a modified Arreaux on a G72DM-14 can do!

Good luck! Frankly I was surprised at the “wow” factor by the veteran rocketeers present at the launch. In my mind it was the little G that could!

You will not regret it. Note however this is a HPR level 1 motor even if it is a G.

Wow this is what a modified Arreaux on a G72DM-14 can do!

For sure unless you can buy from an established motor vendor. But fun nonetheless.

Modified Estes two stage F 15 powered Ascender with Apogee C6-0 strap-on pods

Yup!! Here is my story not unlike thousands of born again rocketeers : Ode to the Fear and Glory of Model Rocketry This post is pure opinion and story telling so take it with a grain of salt. Circa 1961-1962 the age of Sputnik and “A-OK” was in full bloom. As a young teenager the feats of...
