Need a Launch

I miss getting together with folks anywhere, for any purpose.
I normally don't attend my first launch of the year until later in the spring at least, so I'm not feeling the delay yet... but it does weigh on me knowing that it might not happen at all this year, or if it does it could be quite a bit later than usual.
Frustrating, but I confess not at the top of my mind right now.

For those in areas without stay at home orders, may want to go out with a video camera, send a couple, and post the results
The kids and I managed to get out for the afternoon one day last week. We brought half a dozen or so rockets and flew most of them twice. With the school closed, the sports fields are wide open. I prefer club launches, with larger fields and fellow rocketeers, but the small field definitely managed to scratch the need to launch itch. Hoping to get out again later this week.

I feel the need to launch also. Went out Sunday and launched a few. Sure miss the club members.

Look, the stay at home order is only saying stay at home unless you have to go out for absolutely necessary runs. So I'll just say that the launch is necessary for my mental well being, and therefore is a medical appointment.
I was going to find an unused school athletic field this weekend and fly some low power since Red Glare was cancelled, and then the stay at home order came down for Virginia. I'm starting to feel like fate has it out for me and flying rockets.

I should have been prepping my rockets for Red Glare this weekend.... was seriously bummed about that being canceled. So yes.. I sure could use a launch.
Well, I take back what I said. Apparently the order for Virginia specifically allows outdoor activities as long as social distancing is observed. Presumably, sitting in the middle of an unused athletic field to fly some low power is allowed.

I went to the Local Soccer field and launched a few with my son... I do miss having others around though... Good Luck on any Launching .. Live for today and Launch away..

I need a launch so I can get some 38mm CTI motors and skip the Hazmat. I have the hardware, now need a motor and a permit. TARC has been cancelled, so I can't get me son to work on that much now. My boys and I have built some LP kits, should have some more from erockets today.
