I have my Eggtimer Classic assembled and the firmware initialized. It powers up and allows me to change the programming with my laptop. Now, when I test the continuity with e-matches, it fails and the channels always show a 0. I am using a 2s 25c 450mAh 7.4 LiPo battery. I was hoping to use the single battery to power the altimeter and fire the e-matches. As I troubleshoot, what joints should I look at first?

Do you have power on the BATA/BATB pads as well as the "B" power pads? Those are the deployment power pads, you need to have power to them in order to get continuity and fire the ematches. If you DO have power there, then you need to take a look at your optoisolators.

That is one thing I was confused on and must have misunderstood how the circuits were designed. I thought there would be low voltage across the deployment channels and the BATA/BATB pads provided the power needed for igniters. Is it possible to wire the Main/BATA/BATB with a single battery or do you really need at least two? I was hoping to use a single battery, but I could use a small 1s for the computer and a 2s for the deployment channels.

Thanks for the help, everything works like I want it and the LiPo I had handy powers the computer and pops the e-matches.
