I try to make rocket which weight is almost 17kg. Apogee must be 1500 meters.Which solid propellants should I use?
 
You should join a local rocket club to find out more about suppliers in your area as well as any regulations and safety protocols.

I'm already a member.How about APCP?
 
A good starting approach would be to design your rocket using Rocksim or Open Rocket, then run simulations from the motors listed and see what you get for altitude. As one of my professors once told me, "Two months in the laboratory (actual experiments) will save you two hours in the library (simulations)".;)

I'll bet that goes over a lot of people's heads. ;)
 
If you are in the US or Canada then use commercially made rocket motors from companies like Aerotech or Cessaroni. If you are in Europe you should still be able to get these, but they will cost you more. If you do not have access to commercially made motors you will need to research the laws of where you live to see what you can legally do.

Your first foray into rocket motor building will emulate an m1675 in a 17kg. rocket?

Your question is vague. ACPC is the choice of most flyers. Some use sugar. Regardless of which propellant you use, we will not discuss propellant formulas on the open forum. That is reserved for the research forum which is restricted to US citizens who have a minimum of L1 HP certification by NAR or TRA.
 
Whatever you do, you need to start small. Design a motor for a 100 to 200 gram rocket. Do not use PVC for the motor case. Try to find someone who has built motors and can do it safely and have them teach you. Making propellant can be very dangerous and may be illegal where you live.

If your just beginning like others has said start small and build your way up. Gain experience using commercially available model rocket engines and see what they do right and how you can mimic them. But later when you get deeper in, sugar or commercial APCP are both extremely good choices, But a word of warning. Be very very careful making any of this stuff. Many people have lost there lives doing this.
 
I got the privilege of helping a team from Turkey launch their CANSAT project last spring in TX. There were a bunch of kids from all over. The group from Turkey were well motivated and were a pleasure to help.

Okay, I will ask the obvious question . . .

Why does a person, from Turkey, with little or no knowledge of Rocketry, suddenly come up trying to build an "almost 17 kg" (35 lb +/- ) rocket that "must have an Apogee of 1500 meters" ( about a3000 meter "effective range" at a 45-degree launch angle ) ?

Forgive me, if I am wrong, but this request has my "shields" up !

Because there's a fairly large Turkish collegiate rocketry competition. The organizers of this competition don't seem to make any attempt to teach the competitors the basics or provide them with resources, resulting in lots of these sorts of questions being asked all over the place.
 
There's actually a fairly large group out in Turkey... several of them have purchased Eggstuff. From our conversations, they seem like a pretty typical group of college students, meaning that they don't always know which questions to ask or where to find the resources that they need, particularly with college schedules and deadlines taken into account. Pointing them towards the proper resources goes a long way.
