Pulled the tape off. Turned out pretty good. I'll start assembling the rocket later on tonight. I'm really excited with how good its turning out. I'll touch up a few spots with a brush.Resized_20190629_011459.jpg

3 rolls of Tamiya tape on Amazon for 7 bucks. I'd guess if your just doing edges on detailed pita paint schemes it isn't too bad. I probably didn't even use a quarter of the roll.
Wow, I use 3m fine line tape 12 bucks a roll. You got a steal. Might have to try the Tamiya stuff.

Thanks! Funny thing, my wife let me borrow her cherished super duper sharp scissors that Im not allowed to use to cut some masking tape at the leading edge of the fins. Well they are indeed sharp because it nicked a little bit out of the leading edge on one of them. Whoops, its always something.

Darn, just realised I didn't pull the fin can all the way down the end of the tanks and glued it in place already. My rocket is now 2 inches shorter. Luckily I can still fit the United States sticker on the tanks.

Wow, thanks everyone. I think it turned out great also. So much that I've got a Saturn V on the way with a few mods coming with it. I hope it turns out as well as this one.
