With the vast array of folks here there's no doubt some great stories associated with this topic.

Pictures would be great too!

I would have to say that my favorite launch was not a single launch. My Dad got me into model rockets. He wasn't into them himself per say, when he got me into them. One Christmas the folks bought me a Centuri wooden launcher and some rockets and an exacto knife set. We lived in Halifax Ma. between the East and West Monponsett lakes. We would launch in the winters when the lakes where frozen. I remember my first 2 stager .I think the Centuri Marauder payload sounding rocket and I remember my SST Shuttle. I also remember my Little Joe going off the pad side ways and shoot back into the trees on the shore. Dad did everything a man could do trying to get that rocket out of the tree for me. Funny thing, of all the rockets I designed and kits Ive built, I still get excited , I get a good feeling in my gut, and feel young again when I see those rockets. It just brings me back in time. And Ill add this tidbit, as Im typing this, there is the Centuri Marauder and the Little Joe sitting just across the room that I recently pulled out of the pile to build while I was going thru my stash shorting things out that Im going to sell. NO LIE, crazy, I know !
