I must say, I am entirely satisfied with how Death Punch turned out!
Outstanding! Simply outstanding
Krusty
YUP what Krusty said! So when are you releasing the kit version,I want my own 5FDP rocket!
Awesome job Jim!
Duplicolor Mirage purple-green is what I used on my Kraken. Did you ever get a chance to see it up close in person? I'm planning to try the blue-red at some point too. I've seen the MetalCast in some rocket photos around these parts, but haven't used it myself.
I like the look of the whole fin-can (just to add to the consensus)
of the color choices, i like the purple followed by a green of some sort. (not necessarily the shade in your initial color studies, something a little more intense maybe? metalCast might be a good choice - for this.)

holy carp I need to finish reading a thread before I hit reply... That came out looking great Jim!
Another fine looking creation ya got there Jim!
Fantastic.... Now you just need a small speaker playing 'white knuckles'
What? You know it would be cool!
Yeah... Yeah, it would.... But you'd have to crank it right up to hear it over the roar of the motor.. But I guess it *would* make it easy to locate in long grass
Krusty.
It all came together REALLY WICKED COOL!!!!!
Thats going to be hard to follow.
Maybe a Five Finger Fillet?
Yup,thats a beauty for sure, that one just may be me favorite Norm Abram's build.
Very nice final result, I really like the color scheme. I am a huge fan of the Duplicolor metalcast products, but the undercoat does add alot to the effect and will leave you more content with coverage as transparent is what you are going for when you use the base coat. As a side note though, the purple is the most frustrating color of the series I have worked with (and I have used them all)...I have yet to get it just right.
Once again, very nice rocket.
Yes it's rainbow. Yes it's ugly. But it's nylon, and it was cheap.
What's the little eyebolt for in the last picture?
