Well this is kinda embarrassing.I bought a whole bale of the shredded insulation better known as dog barf. Why its called this I have no clue, the stuff my dogs have barfed up looks NOTHING like it! Well anyways I was going to do some ground testing today and ummm guess where my DB is,yup you guessed it way back up north in the shed in PA.Normally there would be a large zip-lock stuffed full in my range box. That was given away at one of the last launches I attended and I spaced out putting in another bag.So if someone out there would pack a small box full (6x6x6) or similar I would pay dearly (but not likes its gold LOL). I don't need a ton of the stuff, just enough to pack blastcaps for testing, since the bale I have in PA will last my lifetime.Even longer when its not here in FL.Please don't make me resort to kicking a bag in Lowe's and stuffing my pockets.

So if you have plenty to spare, don't mind stuffing a box,and driving all the way to town to mail it(all costs will be covered via PP),PM me please.
THX!

I have some but can't mail it until Monday or Tuesday... Are you looking for like a Ziploc baggie full?

Stuff is wicked cheap. For what you would pay in shipping, may as well buy another bale for your place in Florida.

Worst case scenario, spread it around in your attic...or just toss it in your attic and forget about it until you need more.

All's good!! thx guys! I should be barfing this weekend.

Ya know I guess I coulda done that Dan just wasn't thinking along those lines....more like ,crap not another whole bale to lug around and never get rid of.

That'd be rich to get worked over by security. "Foreigner arrested at Lowes today with pockets full of dog barf. Stated it was for launching rockets. BATF investigating. North Korea offers internship."

HEY! Long haired southerners are NOT foreigners! :headbang: But I'm sure I could help NK at least get a rocket off the ground.

You probably wouldn't have to kick a bale, there is usually plenty laying around on the floor near the bales, at least there is at my local lumber and hardware.

This may possibly be a useful suggestion for future use: A while ago, someone who brought a half garbage bag full of dog barf to a launch, gave it to me as they were leaving because a) they had plenty and b) didn't want to take it home and put it away. I don't use it that fast, but when I was moving needed something to pad my rockets from one another in their boxes. Sooo:

I filled a whole bunch of zip-lock baggies (different sizes) with dog barf and use them as pillows in every box of rockets, on the bottom, top, ends, and in between rockets.

Now, whenever I go to a launch, if I have rockets, I probably have more dog barf with me than I will use. YMMV.

Yeah a gallon goes a long way when launching LPRs and MPRs.

I sent Chris about a gallon and a half of premium dog barf. He refused my offer to include some genuine cat barf (or even a genuine cat) to test as recovery wadding.

I almost selected "Media Mail" as the shipment option to save a couple of dollars. After all, it is newsprint .......

That's hilarious! I woulda sent a small tube of glue along and called it a "Historical Document Restoration".......

Ya know attaching a cat to the SC would make a very interesting on-board video, prob get me arrested, but it could also act as a locator beacon.

But, then, the package definitely could not be sent as Media Mail because it would have contained something other than the newspaper!
