What are you drinking right now?

6 shots of espresso from the Jura at work (Peet's Major Dickason's Blend). Already had a 32 oz unsweetened ice tea (Luzianne) on the drive to work. I'm scheduled to blink again in about 4 h, but it may be later. 🤪

My personal blend of freshly ground Guatemalan and Brazilian coffee from Nossa Familia coffee roasters in Portland, OR. Guatemalan is from a farm and processing facility I have visited near Antigua, Guate. The Brazilian is Matilde's French Roast from the family farm in Brazil.

It gets me going everyday.

This morning, I awoke to a cup of Eight O'Clock coffee from my Keurig. Since then, I've been drinking SMWBO's Splenda-sweetened Peach Tea.

When I get off of work at night it’s a bud ice for me. No more southern comfort or fireball. That stuff would give me a headache in the morning.
My first HPM, so I wanted to compare sizes.

I'm a "getting old fart" that cannot function without two large cups of Folgers' Classic Roast first thing in the morning.

Now I'm drinking Crystal Light Classic Orange. The first and only orange soft drink I've found that doesn't taste like orange candy. It actually tastes reasonably close to orange juice. I'd drink orange juice instead, if I could, but the blood sugar can't stand that much simple carbohydrate. (I save my carb binges for really good stuff, like cheesecake...)

Finding Classic Orange is getting very difficult. Apparently a lot of people think much the same as I do about it. Had to buy the last boxes from eBay, none in Walmart or Kroger...

Best -- Terry

Terry - look for the Crush brand of orange water mix. It comes in those little pouches intended for standard water bottles. I think it is a bit strong as directed, however at 2/3 strength it's not bad. They also have a pineapple that is pretty good.

Creature of habit. Every morning I brew a local brand of coffee “Community Coffee” using a #2 coffee cone filter with whole milk and sugar. With lunch drink water. In the evening is usually a local beer or a bourbon and ginger beer cocktail. Water with dinner. If weather is decent a late bike ride.

Water with "tropical passion fruit" flavor. They lie....it doesn't taste tropical or very passion-y. It tastes what I imagine potassium dichromate would taste like (bright orange colored and chemical-y) and no, I'm not gonna try and compare the two.

I can't drink Kurig coffee, it just tastes *wrong*.

For a long time I used a Keurig coffee maker with whatever ground beans I wanted. The individual pods never tasted fresh and seemed wasteful. When it quit working, my wife picked up a Ninja brewer on sale. I love it, it brews a single cup or full pot better than other brands and has a permanent filter that is easy to wash.

I normally don't drink anything except black coffee, water, or the occasional glass of bourbon to sip. If I need it, I make my own gatorade out of Crystal Lite and a little salt substitute for sodium and potassium replacement. My whiskey of choice is Woodford Reserve, but I also like Makers Mark or Jeffersons Reserve VSOB too. For a Candian blend, Crown Royal Rye is very good for the price.

I’ve seen that in stores, decent?
Depends on your place on the hoppy scale. :D IMO on the sharp side but it's got a good malt backbone. Overpriced IMO. And I brew so I know how much hops have gone up in price over the last few years. I think Bell’s Brewery Two Hearted Ale is one of the best easy drinking IPAs. Depending on where you are, it's a midwest thing. I had to clone it since we don't get it in Montana. Oh, BTW I'm drinking cheap cabernet sauvignon spritzers. Gotta keep the theme going.

Two Hearted is gold. Also, hey Montana! Had some Blackfoot Single Wimea SMaSH earlier this evening- Single Malt variation on tap right now. Highly recommended if you find yourself in Helena.

Gonna agree with PatD.

Decent but not really all that special. About what I’d expect from the Seattle, Washington area. So close to America in any direction. All the Californians moved up there are likely to blame. “Big Slimy” is not pleased.

Think I paid $12.99 for the six-pack.

I do have two bottles of Pliny The Elder and a can of “Pliny For President“ in the fridge.

Home brewed, Starbucks French Roast, strong, black, hot. 2 or 3 cups. Deeeelicious! Then water.

Definitely more hoppy than malty. I don't like coffee, I don't like beer that tastes like it either

Reminds me of going out with my team for lunch after Senior Design presentation. I had recently started trying various types of alcoholic drinks on a limited basis (still rarely drink).
One of my partners turns to me with a mug and says "Hey try this!"
I try it and say "What is it, I can't really taste anything?"
He responds "Of course not, its Bud lite!"
