Rats. I was all prepped, but I can't do the 20th. Alas.

I'll be there on the 20th, probably with the 3.1" LOC Sandhawk on an AT J570 if the weather looks good. With luck also bringing the 3.1" LOC IRIS for a shakedown as well, depending on how much I get to work in it during the week.

K456DM is a great motor. Flew my stretched 54mm upgraded Minie Magg on that at MWP 2019. Beautiful flight and great performer.

Glad I decided to pop on here and see what launches are coming up. I have my L3 attempt rocket in the garage right now getting paint and am pretty much ready to go with it. Could do a checkout flight on Saturday with a K1275 and fly something else as well.

Hmmm...

If the forecast holds and Saturday sucks, is there any chance of moving to Sunday?

Wife asked me if they would have a porta-potty. Thought they usually dont, but told her i would ask.

Does anyone know what the waiver at the QCRS launch in July at Tims will be??

Ack! Looks like I have a scheduling conflict. And Saturday's weather forecast tips the scales against flying :(

See y'all at MWP 2020.

Forecast is looking hit and miss. I'll probably make it down though, unless it takes a turn for the worse.

Right now - and it's a forecast so who knows - it looks like the morning is going to be better weather. I'm going to try to get there a bit early to help set up. Doesn't look like I'll get the IRIS done in time though - too much going on at work this week.

The waiver is called in to start at 9am. So with many hands to make light work, we should be able to start flying right at 9.
I'm planning on getting there around 8ish, after stopping at Tim's to pick up whatever pre orders he has for the launch.
See ya there.

Might make it out. Want to fly my Extreme WM for my L3, before I go for my cert. Have a K1275 ready for it.

Any experience on how much BP to use for the EX WM ejection charges? Using 3 #2 nylon shear pins.

Just got home and not sure I can get a test in before its too late. Calculator says 0.6g will pop the payload section for the main, not a lot of volume left once the chute is in, and 1.5g for apogee.

I guess the old saying, either blow it out or blow it up, holds!
