Ok enough of this ishkabibble , I decided to de-bunk this top secret project. I will be publishing NC & fin files after the reveal for all to use openly and freely.

First I went to the Ultra-Dark web & found this super...well I can't say anymore about it. May want to patent it myself, anyhow first I took this pic & copied into my .....------.....program where by comparing known font sizes & column dimensions & droplet size from spilt booze, I deciphered the NC dimensions. Notice the teeny tiny droplets of overspray...all that was needed to verify!
Should not have posted that pic buddy...that's how secrets get stolen!!!!



Then I contacted my buddy Dr Vinny Boom Ba to write a file for my SPDX 100 mega 3D printer..few hours later Voila!!!@#..... a top secret super duper special Von Karmon 5.789 to 1.235 sphincter X filament mach 5 proof nose cone. By the way while I was at it.....made it, the first ever scratch & sniff nose cone. Hmmmm...Pina Colada!

Don't ask..can't tell you anything about these materials or dimensions, safe to say no-one has EVER done THIS before! [or since] or would want to again...I think..uh maybe.

So I now need a Pharbon X airframe to hold the >>%$#@% don't ask NC. Simple, got 48 in tube from Flea-bay for 18.00 carfuffleses [shipped I'll have you know!] Anyone can get carbon. Heck try getting Pharbon, now that's a real trick!

Here's just a teaser pic or 2 before I drag this out over 10 pages and 4 zillion, carillon, tramillion posts.

Oh Wait the 6grain CTI case and reload [PINK?] maybe I should order it in a few days next to the rocket.

Note my version is fully several inches shorter, just enough room for the NC & shoulder,,,,,but I must think about telling how I get all that stuff [what stuff you say...you know the secret stuff] inside....must consult my Magic *8 ball for the answer....it's on vacation..must wait a day or 2.

JUST for my forum buddies..I used a special camera filter [can't tell what kind it is though] that renders these zirconium -flubber calipers visible for just a few seconds! Enjoy

Because the real world is way worse... And he is about to graduate college and enter that world. A little banter on what behavior is socially acceptable isn't a bad thing.

If his real world actions are anything like the behavior he has displayed on this forum. Life will be a lot more harsh then this friendly rocket community.

I'm a little confused by the scratch and sniff nose cone. Does this serve as an ablative? Was this technology used by the SEDS team? Is the choice of smellies important? I mean, does pina colada work better than grilled pork chop?

I'm 100% positive that the SADS team, has proven that beef bouillon scent is 3 times more aerodynamic then pork chop.( don't even get me started on "Country Flower" scent)

I just don't understand why you wouldn't use a motor case that is twice as long as the rocket.

It is not a single post. It is the trend. When many folks, say people like myself, who have been in this hobby for a long time keep trying to correct behavior with no results this is what you get. I would love to see Andrew learn to control himself, and communicate in a more cogent and mature manner. I have made these suggestions to him, as have others, to no avail. I am concerned that if he does this in the working world he is going to have serious career issues. People skills are important, and he needs to improve these skills ASAP.

SquirrelWorks will give a hint. The areas in red are prone to warping problems in manufacturing to due scale and under .030” when Laser sintering.

Yes I do believe I got it right....maybe even 'Mo 'Betta" than you. the very tip tapers both forward & reward as shown by pencil marks.
Yes edges are to fragile so they are cut back a bit......took 1001 passes per side to machine [1hr]

AND the fin guides [2 cause that's what you need to get them on straight] are notched so oozing epoxy won't glue them to the airframe



Of course this was all done years ago....

.....for this build I'm using super thin Aluminum. No need for foils on this project, the stock is so thin it's clear or you could say almost invisible...

Anyhow back to the regular programing..BUT FIRST I must contact my Russian friends via satellite !

If you read through that thread, I didn’t attack I’m or call him names but tried to convey information. If he doesn’t want to use it, that’s fine. I’m not going to call him names and make fun of him on a forum. If someone isn’t looking for advice and doesn’t want to listen... there’s no point in trying to help once the advice is kicked aside.

It’ll be exciting if Jim successfully CNC mills fins in 24mm MD size, because it’ll prove it can be done differently and hopefully cheaper.

Most firms for hire wanted to complain of toolbit radius size, part chattering, or tooling jigs required when initially contacted for CNC mill work on airfoils this size. I know they didn’t want to even attempt to CNC mill the airfoils for money.

Well I ciphered over this conundrum quite a while...Then IT happened, I remembered the newly released Birdman Rtx V2.0 oh my!
So I sent in my boxtops & bottle bottoms & quickly received my wings made of Tin & special decoder rings.

These should keep pretty good "eye on things"..in case of decoder failure.





I have enlisted several fellow member Birdmen [& Birdwoman} to aid in tracking. very simple actually.



This is known as "passive tracking".
We hope the rocket passes by one of the Birdmen[women] AND they SEE it.
No batteries to charge or worry about. No added weight to rockets No antenna to bend and stuff into something.

A teeny tiny mirror chip is glued on upper surface of airframe. After launch, the suns rays which travel trough space at some time continuum related to the speed of light and how fast you chew gum are reflected off the teeny tiny mirror and send gamma rays to strategically located Birdmen's decoder ring.
Location is then dicomboomulated and sent back for recovery.......
But don't try to locate one or even understand it....it's beyond comprehension of ordinary men, I assure you. UNLESS you are a paid up member of SAIDS TEAM. Even then it's he said this, & she said that, who the heck realyy knows..who said what to who..or whom as the case may be....

Here is Manual for Birman TrX V2.0 system..of course it's totally lacking in depth like all supplied manuals. No worries I have a note sent via carrier pigeon,to get a clearer understanding.

I met and mentored Andrew & would not be doing this otherwise, besides he's given it his seal of approval.

I have contacted Saids for clarification on this, but once again it was "he said that & she said this".
Apparently some coating may be useful as ablative....I must do further testing.
Will report on that later.....gonna fire up Bubba's redneck Bar-B-Que and Supersonic wind tunnel . Hmmmm B-B-Q THAT may be the answer we're looking for! As long as it doesn't get licked off before flight.

Actually I'm also against circu...can't even type it without cringing.. heck!
I find a much better practical form of corporal punishment is too remove "Bouncy Ball" privileges.
I don't know anyone who wants to go very long not being able to play with their bouncy balls. I mean it's a time tested right of passage.
Take away BB privilege and it will straighten out even the worst of offenders!!!


Now that we've straightened all that out...now can we play nice Please.?
