Not sure if this has been done before, but I hadn't heard of it (except maybe vacuum bags) and I liked that it was so easy and quick.

Notes:
  • I could've used vacuum bags, but was concerned about puncturing them. Plus I didn't know where they were and my wife would probably get mad at me for making them smell like burned bp charges (from the charge testing). Hand vacuum was also easier than dragging over the large vac.
  • Ziploc gallon bag used... was an "Easy" and much cheaper than vacuum bags.
  • I used an old 18v Ryobi handvac with nozzle attached and altimeters recorded between 980-1200'.
  • I made sure that nozzle was pointed to a spot where bag wouldn't get sucked in and block it.
  • I was able to fit the entire 4" sled and cap ends in.
  • I salvaged lights from an old holiday lawn display and this made it so easy.
