Looks like VRS makes a nice product! Lighter material, super slick, small lines, should pack down nice and small. This 8' chute is bigger than the photos make it seem. Chutes look nice. Yes shroud lines are small but what material are the lines made from?

Once again, hard to judge scale of the drogue chute without a full size dog…
At least the dog is right next to the chute.
And cute as heck, too. The dog, not the chute.

Used the small piece of leftover coupler to double wall the nose cone coupler in case of a rough deployment or hard landing. Not necessary, but may as well make use of the "throw away" piece of coupler. Just need to trim the excess flush this weekend and sand any burs off.

Also starting putting together some .357/9mm aluminum rod tethers @tfish style. Need 3-4 put together for ground testing and first flight later this year.

I just received mine in the mail today, (8' main, 18" drogue) and I'm very happy with the quality. I'll use mine in either my Cherokee M upscale build (4 inch) or my Wildman 98 Blackhawk build.

Getting optimistically hopeful for a maiden voyage soon. Might be as soon as TWA February 10th (https://www.tripoliwisconsin.org/) on a K-2050ST to get it up and down single deploy. Good excuse to try out the VRS Explorer 8' parachute as well.
