So my wife and I found a nicer version of this little old-fashioned slow cooker ar a yard sale for $3, and this one is either trash or treasure.

Does anyone use heat for curing processes, melting out, or any such stuff? Granted it's a small chamber, but so far the little rocketry I've managed to do is small stuff.

Alien Elvis needs to know! Other than a hot plate for when I'm in the doghouse and have to warm a can of beans, does anybody see a rocketry use for this little heat chamber?20230731_205841_01.jpg

Good for cooking in the kitchen. We really liked ours... until it finally died.

Yes, we "upgraded" to the type with the glass lid that can be inverted and used as a serving dish! For $3! Sheesh... do you want this one?

Thanks all, for some good ideas! I need some way to monitor temperature, but clearly I can do something with it...

Trash vs. treasure depends on how much space you have as well as your tolerance for clutter...
Well, not my tolerance... 🤓
