The University of Sydney Rocketry Team has taken out runner up in the 30k' COTS challenge, and third place in the Payload design competition.
The competition was virtual this year, so unfortunately nobody attended NM this time around. The competition was entered by 75 teams from 16 countries around the world.
This is the team I mentor and I am so proud of their competence and their achievements. A really great bunch of students to work with. Go USYD .
Maybe we'll make along in person next year .
Monash University from here in Melbourne Australia took out first place in the Modelling and Simulation category. Congratulations Monash! That team is mentored by somebody else from our Tripoli Rocketry Association club.
Thanks also to the people involed in running this. It must be an enormous amount of work and your efforts don't gounpunished unnoticed .
