Lucerne has some water, but will probably dry out before 9/9’s launch.
It's fortunate Hillary weakened to a Cat 2 before landfall. Hillary was bad enough with the mud and rock slides. If she had remained a Cat 4, the area would have been devastated.

If you go to Lucerne when there are wet spots, be very careful. The lake can look dry and have deep, soft, sticky mud that will sink you up to your ankles instantly. Vehicles can be even worse.
