Got the Thunderbirds DVDs as christmas presents long ago. (I know, ancient technology... :) )

Watched Fireball XL5 every Saturday morning, way back when. But Thunderbirds was enormously better, far more believable. In XL5 Steve Zodiac, Venus, and Professor Matt Matic took oxygen pills to survive w/o spacesuits. And they moved through space by kicking their feet, as though they were swimming. Even as a 7 yr old I recognized bullhockey when I saw it. (Didn't stop me from plunking down in front of the TV with a bowl of cereal every weekend, though.)

I thought---and still think---that Thunderbird 3 was one of the coolest rockets ever. If not THE coolest.

Best --- Terry

Always enjoyed Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons. I'll have to see if that one is around anywhere for streaming.
