How do people count CATO's in this thread? I had a rough day at ROC on Saturday. Two recovery failures and a CATO.

My policy is to count CATOs or chuffs that are hard enough that you won't burn the rest of the motor. I don't think there's a formal rule, so do whatever seems right to you.

That's gonna be a tough one, looking at the remains of your cato, there were some grains that didn't burn? Hard to figure out what you burned unless you weight the remains.....

If we're counting CATOs, I had an H250 burn go in Dalzell, SC this past weekend, took out a chunk of the rocket with it. Thankfully the AV bay, nosecone, electronics, and recovery gear all survived, so I'll have to find time to rebuild now.
