Telemini question

I have a Telemini v1, flew it three times before. Got it out to fly again, but for the life of me can't figure out how to set the altitude for the main.
Does the Telemini not have that function? If not what is main altitude it set at by default?
I thought I was able to set the main...

did some more testing,
can't get the Telemini to show up using the Teledongle at all
can only get the Telemini to show up using scan channels using a TeleBT

Are you sending a command packet from the UI within the first 5 seconds after power up to get the TeleMini into the idle mode?
