Launched a Public Missiles 3" AMRAAM day after christmas. It seperated 3-4 seconds after apogee, and i could hear a klang. Airframe got a 1-2" zipper, and the bulkheaded coupler now has a hole. Any suggestions for fixing this? Currently i think i need to cut the bulkhead out, put a coupler within the coupler, and then glue the bulkhead back in.

Video at 35 seconds shows the coupler damage:

Why take the bulkhead out? Just get a coupler, cut a strip out, cut it 1 cm shorter, and glue it on the inside.

Now that i think about, i'll probably implement your solution to fill the gap. Plus for additional strength i can still add a coupler within the coupler by taking out the nose cone and adding the inner coupler from that end of the tube.
