Stiffy Tube Couplers

Anyone know the length of a 3.9" diameter stiffy tube? I want to reinforce my ebay and need the length. Thanks.

I think they are 6"

They are 5 1/2" long. Works great for E-bays.

Thanks. I am getting a Binder ebay which is two 6" couplers with a 4" length of body tube. So, 2" of each couple goes into the BT. It just seems like a weak point to me. I was thinking of putting the "stiffy" in the center to support the point where the two couplers meet. What do you think?

Sounds reasonable.

I always glass the inside of a coupler. This goes for E-Bays, but mostly for the top coupler in the zipperless design.

2 layers of 6 oz glass will do wonders.

Don't get me wrong here. The stiffys work well too.
