We are most definitely a Star Trek family....though we aren't fluent in Klingon.
My then-girlfriend (now wife of nearly 46 years) used to be able to ID an episode of the original series simply by hearing a few lines over the phone when we were in college.....

I, um, used to be the Communications Officer of the local Starfleet (Star Trek fan club) chapter, the USS Defiant.
LOL I’ve been able to hold that LLAP sign with both hands since I was a kid!
