Well after corralling all my extra tubes, nose cones and other odds and ends, I decided that I need to use them. I thought about cloning something, but with the short length of tubes, I got on OR and put this together. Bt60 lower tube and BT 56 upper. Black BT 56 cone. I had a thought of using the unused Saturn 1b solid fins and 5 of them. And then the thought of painting it somewhat like that. Layout and paint was a pain, but turned out OK. BT 5 ram jet pods with paper cones recessed into the tubes to simulate jets. Cut the aft end of the tubes to simulate Turkey feathers like on fighter jets. Where the transition is, has been reinforced with balsa strips. 300# Kevlar cord with 36” elastic shock cord attached to three 6” chutes. Make it look cool on decent.

Looks great. Never underestimate the power of the SPEV. They give direction for your creativity and encourage out of the box thinking.
