I'd like to build a rocket that has the larger diameter nose cone like SpaceX uses on its rockets. Making it will be no problem using a balsa wood block and a lathe. But can one be drawn up in OpenRocket? Ir would I need to create it in some other program? And if so how can I import it into OR so I can do flight simulations?

if you are refering to something that has what looks like it has a payload section... you do it in 3 sections a nose, the untapered section, and the rearward facing transition.
