SoAR had a launch this past Sunday (Outside Atlanta). A little windy, but not to bad. A lot of nice flights! I flew everything from a Quark to my trusty Mustang! I launched my 'Stang early in the day and caught some good gusts. It went up nice on an F50-9, deployed, started coming down with a little drift and then ........ it caught a big-time gust or something and floated at least 3/4 (maybe a mile) horizontally into a pretty nasty area (trees!!!). Never did find it, but it sure looked nice!!!
A few others lost rockets, but not to bad considering the wind.
