I’m trying to build the Binder Design Galaxy in Rocksim. Two major problems are the nosecone tip that is built over the top of the nosecone, but I’ll explore that later . . . right now I’ve skipped that part and just added the weight as noseweight.
The fins are the real problem. I was going to use the chamfering tool to create the curves, but the angle of the curves are the opposite or negative in relation to the curvature the chamfering tool creates. So far, my only choices are to either create literally hundreds of plan points to create the curves, or just create straight lines between plan points.
Mike at Binder Design came through, he did indeed have a Rocksim file for the Galaxy. I'm attaching it to this post for anyone who has the Galaxy or would like to purchase the Galaxy . . . you now have a Rocksim file for it.
