Returning kit: Estes Savage

Looks like this is a bringback that only went OOP a few years ago. A few comments are present on the page, dating from well before the current ownership.

I notice that the downloadable instructions bear the E2X moniker and the booster comes with a 24mm mount. Neat combo!

It's probably not a bringback, just Estes found a case of them somewhere in their cavernous warehouse, and they need to get rid of them. It is the same price as it was when discontinued in 2021.

I saw the Savage appear on the Estes website a few weeks ago.

I had built and flown one of these kits when they were first released (https://www.rocketryforum.com/threads/new-estes-e2x-kits.57230/ ) and decided to add a few more of these kits to my 'collection'.

I don't know how many Estes has but you'd be wise to order them ASAP before that inventory is gone.

I think I will. Just got to wait until tomorrow, I’ve had a little more than I’m used to and I know better than to shop online while tipsy.

Actually I’m interested in that retaining/staging cap, I’d like to see if that can get a friend of mine to 3D print an upscale or otherwise fashion something similar for use in my Star Orbiter.
