i was wondering if any of you guys can name the 5 best materials that can be used for a 38mm rocket. diameter is not of the problem and please post experiences with these five materials. any post would be much appreciated

i can really only name 5 materials for a 38mm rocket body tube:

LOC: paper tubing
ARR: Blue Tube
Not sure: Phenolic
PR: Fiberglass
PR: Carbon Fiber/Graphite

It really depends how wide the rocket will be and how much performance you intend to get out of it. If it's a 38mm motor tube, and a 4" body tube, you can just use paper tubing, but if it's 38mm minimum diameter you'll want to go with blue tube or fiberglass, or if you're looking for extreme performance, you'll want to go with carbon fiber.
