Dragonfly taking off on a J415 at the annual ALRS launch in Switzerland 2014 (Altitude 1400m)
Below is my small OTRAG flying on a Cluster of 4 F50 SU Motors. Same Launch last year, this was the boilerplate small model to see if everything works and if the model flies stable (the big Version with 4x I357 is already on the bench )
145 pounds pad weight, 17 feet long, 12" diameter, 20" diameter cone, 24" tube fins
All cardboard-sonotube-fiberglassed and plywood with cone by pythonrocketry
Tom.... did that rocket fly at LDRS? If so,,,, what motor? I think I remember a similar looking rocket and 2 other people looked at me with a look of "This is gonna be awesome."
Thank you!
Before AT and CTI were certified for the German market, the ALRS Launch was the biggest Launch you could attend on mainland Europe. This is where I certified L2 und L3, and it is still the one Launch were I definitely attend each year...the view is spectacular, and the Folks are nice - what more (except good weather) can you ask for?
My (Extended) Wildman Jr. named Green Plasma. Flight on and H180 to 680m at the RJD Launch in May 2015. Just to Show that I'm flying in Germany as well

Any chance you grabbed pictures of my red 4" Villain that shredded on the white L motor from the C rack, or my 3" Arcas that flew on a moon burner from the B rack?
