I bent them by hand, pliers and a vice. This thin aluminum bends quite easily. To get it to conform, I used a 3" fiberglass tube to get the shape close then minor adjustments with the tools above.

Was that you, who flew the frenzy on the M motor yesterday at bayboro. If it was, that was an awesome flight
 
Hi,

Well, the Cert flight went perfectly!! The maiden flight of the rocket was on a K560 and I'm glad I did a test flight. One of the parachute cords go a little burned and prevented the main chute from fully deploying. Fortunately, no damage. Adjusted the main charge down just a little (4 grams vs 5 grams) and added some dog barf (Thanks Scott S.) and perfect!!

I was so nervous when the thing finally launched. Very happy with the result.

Attached is the video with some photos,etc. Thanks to my TAPs Alan Whitmore and Jim Livingston. Excellent advice to make this go smoothly.
