To All,
We (Contrail Rockets LLC.) will be sponsoring some new contest this year at LDRS. There are 2 Contests and 2 Promotions which we are putting on. The 2 Contests will both have prizes of:
First Place: 500.00 Dollar (US Dollars) Gift Certificate to Contrail Rockets
Second Place: 250.00 Dollar (US Dollars) Gift Certificate to Contrail Rockets
Third Place: 100.00 Dollar (US Dollars) Gift Certificate to Contrail Rockets
The Gift Certificates can be used for Reloads and Hardware available from Contrail Rockets LLC.
The First Contest is the Mach Buster Contest. The Goal of the contest is to achieve the highest recorded speed using a Certified Hybrid Motor. The Highest Speed Wins!
The Second Contest is the Out of this World Contest. The Goal of this contest is to achieve the highest recorded altitude using a Certified Hybrid Motor.
For Promotions we are going to be giving away free reloads to flyers looking to try out our new products, and certify level 2 and 3 this year at LDRS. We have allotted a maximum of 30 reloads (10 of each K, L and M Reloads). Flyers looking to certify level 2 or 3 are asked to contact us prior to the launch. Any extra reloads left over from this promotion will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis to flyers at the launch.
The Second Promotion is a bit different. We are looking for a flyer with a rocket capable of handling 2 to 3 High Power Hybrid Rocket Motors in the L-M Impulse Class. We will provide the reloads, Nitrous Oxide, Hardware, GSE and other equipment relating to the motors. We need a flyer and rocket willing to donate some time and a rocket for a flight of clustered hybrids. If you, or someone you know has a rocket capable of handling 2 or 3, 75mm Hybrid Motors with a length of 56 Inches please contact us.
