Launch site

I am getting my 9 year old grandson interested in rockets. It’s been a long time since I was involved. We are currently building an Estes rocket kit. I live in Redmond, Oregon. I use to go out Highway 20, in to the desert where a rocket club would launch. I wonder if that club is still launching there. I would like to get in touch with anyone who is involved with that site.
