here's a pic of the earliest sidewinder, notice he did not regard them as "midpower" early on.(what I call pre-mid packaging)

Interesting difference for collectors.
Looks like the monocolor kits have variations-- Flying Model Rocket Kit, Mid Power, line drawing illustrations and actual photo illustrations on the packaging.

I wonder if he did "midpower" when he started going with suggesting E & F motors?

I think some were concieved after the "midpower" title change

me,I consider them all just model rockets, they were never beefed up to midpower, really .
ofcourse, they will accept a midpower motor.but thats not a midpower "kit" to todays standards, and thats fine . I have around 18 of them so far.

Seems to be working okay, although I haven't gotten any from you recently.
You aren't sending from a netzero.com address are you?
That would certainly not get through.
Try a PM. That seems to be working okay as well.
I'm still waiting to hear from DEAN too.

Nope, you're not. Just got back in town today from a biz trip...check your email. :)

Our son just got back from a week in Madison and brought back a CHEESEHEAD hat. The granddaughter loves it!

The only thing I'll never understand is why those hats look like a slice of "swiss" cheese but are colored like they're made of "cheddar". :D

I suppose that without the dimples they would be referred to as 'wedge-heads'?
