OH wow, that fits the tagline in your signature very well. It just needs to drop some letters out at apogee for air-rocket delivery.

Did you call "Return to Sender, Address Unknown"? Or Postage Due?

VERY nice! Reminds me of the PortaPot Shot, except yours is Rear Eject (which the PortaPot SHOULD have been!)
Congrats on a neat design and successful flight.

Well done you!

Can you give info on the rocket dimensions? And of the recovery setup?

Some nifty design work going on there. ;)

It's name is "Going Postal". About 8" x 8" x 21". 29mm motor mount with rear ejection. Bent balsa wood strips then fiberglassed over them. Couldnt figure out a good way to run a simulation so put on some big fins and nose weight and pushed the button..... Flew really well but tends to pop its seams on landing......

That fin config. reminds me of the Metropolitan Police Call Box.
I have a pyramid oddroc with rear eject that also splits its' seams.
I'm thinking it's because of the ejection charge going off in a confined space rather than landing damage.
So I'm trying an easier sliding fit.
Cheers.

If there was a separate parachute for an envelope inside, and a post office within range, we'd almost have something practical here. Just missing a huge funnel on the local post office roof.

Hey. I prefer silly brainstorming over playing the banjo ok.
