Reminder: If anyone is attempting a certification flight on Friday, we will not have a motor vendor on-site the first day. If you plan to certify on Friday and don’t already have your motor, you will need to make other arrangements to obtain one.

It’s looking to be windy each day, as is typical for Iowa this time of year. Boots are highly recommended for walking through the fields; the walks could become long ones if you don’t get your launch angles and recovery techniques right with the wind!

I have a selection of DMS motors in 29mm, a couple 38mm and a range of CTI 29mm & 38mm (they can borrow my hardware) if someone wants to cert Friday and doesn't have anything to burn for a L1.

DMS 29 mm: H182 Redline, I 205 white
DMS 38 mm: I 140 white, I 175 super white
I have a wide range of CTI 29mm H loads and some mid range I's in 38mm.

If you're attempting a L2 on Friday I also have a range of J motors in CTI 38 mm

Basically, if you want to fly it or fix it and need something just find me and ask.

I'd hate to see someone miss an opportunity to fly on Friday.



on a side note.... I'll be driving across Thursday in the general area of Tim L's shop so there's that....

I'll also have a pot of my simmered beer brats on Friday for lunch. Charring them off now. I'll slow simmer them over peppers, onions, garlic and beer Friday morning after I get set up and settled.

I have a 29mm Scratch built, mostly 3d printed minimum diameter flight to mach 1 on a G80 I'm planning on doing, recovery will be optional due to the lack of being able to fit a tracker in the nosecone, and it going so high and fast. Will be fun to watch it go gone though.
