A high school section in our area is hosting a launch on 17 June 2023 to spread the word on model rocketry and raise some money for their TARC team and other activities.

As of now, we're keeping close watch on the Weather, since the forecast shows some Thundering on our event. Looks like Nature is taking Thunder over the Turf very seriously.. We will continue to moniter the forecast and will send a final Go/NoGo at Friday at the Latest. If you're in the area and in need of a launch opp, please visit our NAR page!

Hey Y'all, it's with a heavy heart that we (WestRocks) announce that Thunder Over the Turf is officially scrubbed due to inclement weather and some actual thunder over the turf. Please monitor this page over the next week for any sign of reschedule or cancellation. Due to school schedules and summer vacation nearing, there is a possibility that a long reschedule could take place. There's also a possibility of a reformat into scheduled informal launches for the public to fly.
