I just finished this vintage Estes Scamp - all parts are original, except for the decals. The included decals were black on white stick-on, which obviously won't work to match the header card. (yes, the little creature is a mirror image of the one on the card, apologies to purists) Notice the header card has "New", so this kit may be from the first production batch (non cold-power) in 1977.

It's interesting the nose cone doesn't match the shape of the older photos. If you hadn't said it was original, I'd have guessed by the shape that it was an upscale using the PNC-55AO Goblin nose cone.

Suggests that the DRM nose cone might be at least as good a choice as the elliptical Sprint XL nose cone for a BT-60 upscale.
