Once again, that greatest of annual traditions is coming up... the Eggtimer Rocketry Holiday Sale. This year it will be from Saturday Nov. 13th through Monday, Nov.29th. The elves have been very busy the past few weeks making up kits... we expect to have plenty on hand, with the exceptions below.
Kit Availability
As you all know, there has been a huge issue with electronic parts shortages in the past year. We've largely managed to skirt around them, however a few of them have started to bite us in the behind so some kits will be delayed...
* Anything with a GPS module (Eggfinder TX, Eggfinder Mini, Eggfinder LCD-GPS Module, Eggtimer TRS) will be delayed until late November due to GPS module shortages. We have a firm Nov. 23rd ship date on several hundred GPS modules, so we're pretty confident that those kits will get shipped out by early December at the latest. Order what you want... it should be filled in a reasonable amount of time.
* The driver chips in the Eggtimer Proton and Eggtimer Quark are backordered until February, the distributors haven't had any for six months. The last ones that we were able to obtain (from a distributor in Germany...) are all gone. We have a few dozen Quarks in stock, and zero Protons. We'll fill the Quark orders until they're gone... afterwards, Quark/Proton orders will be put on hold until we have the driver chips, at which time you will receive an invoice at the discounted price. We're not going to take your money until we know when we can ship your order.
