Hi!
My name is Jay, I live about 40 miles north of Boston, MA, USA. When I was a kid I loved building and flying Estes rockets with my dad. My kids are now excited about the hobby and so we've started building and flying together. We've attended a few launches held by the nice people in the CMASS group in northern MA.
I am amazed and thrilled at how much has changed (technology, vendors) since I last glued balsa to cardboard. And many things are still the same - its still fun and rewarding and satisfies my desire to make things and try them out and improve them. The best part is seeing my youngest son's face light up when his rocket leaps off the pad.
I look forward to being part of the forum and learning from all of the experience that people are sharing here.
