China's Chang'e lander touched down on the far side of the moon earlier this week. Here's a video, stitched together from a series of stills.

Obviously it's a fake because there are no stars, and how can there be bright light on the dark side of the moon?

Thanks for posting it.

A series of stills from the same camera, shot in sequence the same moments apart and shown one by one on rapid sequence.... also known as... a MOVIE! Or Motion Picture. :)

That's not the far side of the moon.
It isn't dark!

Umm ... hope you are jesting. Both sides of the moon receive equal amounts of sunlight — just at different times depending on the phase of the moon.

As the image shows, during the New Moon, the far side is completely illuminated.
