I resorted to trying to reach Mal via his Cape Byron Rocketry email and that too was silent. Had one of his TRF countrymen seek him out, and received an email back from Mal on 9/12 wherein he said he was "Busy as a one-legged man at an arse kicking contest trying to beat the burn bans before bushfire season, so no time for rockets.".

He went on to say he was okay.
