Maybe a super glossy coat is too temperamental and difficult for my current purposes. This venerable Big Bertha will never be truly smooth, and I've only just begun to do more than spray a rocket with a coat or two of whatever's on hand, with possibly contrasting nose and fins in a second color. Maybe when I've done quite a few more rockets, I'll be ready for the ultimate finishing challenge.
