I just finished repairing and painting this one yesterday. I zippered it while yanking on the shock cord trying to get it out of an oak tree at our last launch. I use to think it to be ugly, cause I didn't like the fin shape and they looked too big for the rocket. I made them big on purpose but I mean they looked huge when it was painted white. Looked like a 10 year old kid with big ears and freckles. Now it's a beauty with the snake skin paint job and shading on the tail. I use to put my "IFFY" ex motors in it as I did not worry so much about a cato ruining a pretty rocket. I'll have to reserve it for proven motors now! It sure does fly straight with those big fins too.

Lookin' good Don! I see you have some of the "tricks of the trade" down,
real fun trying to keep that netting still , eh? Need to get you a dual-action
airbrush and let the magic REALLY begin! Keep up the good work & fly hard!

No, the netting was a ladies stocking and it stays where you put it even during spraying.
The air brushes are so small it would take foreve to do a rocket this size. One would help with the fading tho.
