Black Diamond build

Well, this started out as an upscale of the estes blue sapphire but with a twist. Loved the design but thought it would be cool with a boat tail and 4 sets of fins. So that is what I have decided to do. This is 4" dia, 87.6" tall, 54mm motor mount and dual deployment. Right now just getting all the parts together to start building.

Had some time to work on this. Got the CRs glued on the motor tube and got the body tube slotted.

Got motor mount installed and first fin on.

All fins are mounted and tail cone. Next is the fillets.

Ya it is not profitable just for rocketry. I have the laser for another business. I have around 8k invested in this one.

Got all the fillets done and the motor retainer installed. Next up is to get some primer on this thing. Will work on the ebay later today.

Got the booster primed and sanded. Now I just need to go get some paint.

Booster has some color on it. Now just gotta finish up the upper section.
