I clarified my first post. What is a Wilson FX?
Ok thanks. My local club might need a upgrade once we find a new spot to fly on.
Great idea Chuck. Our club could use at least 5 of those. Let us know how they work.I am developing a lid for our Wilson FX launch control system. These snap-on lids will protect the buttons.

No I don’t but I’ll ask around and see if anyone has one.I will. Do you have a printer?
Tim, For your club, I can print them for the price of the filament and shipping. Let me test them first. No I don’t but I’ll ask around and see if anyone has one.
If it has changed, these will be for the older one.@rharshberger you might want to watch this….
I don’t recall what TCR’s shiny new WilsonF/x system is packaged in….
It is not an issue with the model I have tested. You might consider adding some relief handles to the lid. You might be surprised how hard it is to pull a smooth sided lid off with tabbed catches.
Chuck, if you're doing it for profit, then I'll go ahead and buy from you. Because shipping to the Netherlands is a hassle, and if you're just doing it for cost, I can print my own if you make the STL file available.Ok, I will test. Few prints I have during our next launch.
Brad,Hello Chuck,
I will admit that I'm curious. Is this a snap on lid for an LCU-64 or a PBU-8 for use during storage or on the field or what?
Brad
We would be interested. Talked to club president (first thing he said was 'they come with lids, they are terrible and break), but then I said this was 3D printed and he was interested. He has access to some large scale/industrial printers so this could definitely be useful when you post the stl
I was going to circle back tomorrow and post an update. I printed beta 2 this week. I need to test it.Hi Chuck, did you ever post your final design?
