I have a couple baffles from Apogee, up to 66mm, for MPR. At first glance, I don't like the design - too many holes - and easy for hot particles to pass through. I may stuff a pot scrubber inside the baffle coupler for added protection, ala the Aerotech baffle, which works well.

Any thoughts on the Apogee baffle?

Those Apogee ones look similar to the original Centuri styie — a ring of holes near the wall of the BT on one end, a pattern of holes near the center at the other end of a coupler. I've used baffles of that type from Uncle Mike's Rocket Shack and also from Semroc and they seem to work OK. And unlike the cup-style Semroc baffles, I've not yet had one blown out. No experience with the Apogee baffles directly, though.

The Apogee ones, using ply disks, give more options for shock cord attachment than the ones I've used that are all fiberboard.

I haven’t used the baffles from Apogee, but have used the ones from Rocketarium and Qualman, they both work really well. The baffles from rocketarium and apogee look about the same, but the Qualman baffles are somewhat different.

I like the look of the Qualman design. Burning particles are not getting through those torturous paths!

I also like the design with two inner tubes parallel to each other and open on opposite ends.
