Hi Folks....
In cleaning out my fathers estate I happened upon these rocket motors from the time I was a kid and he worked for Aerojet in Sacramento.
There are 30 of these in all, 3 to a tube (blue in color) and dry as a bone and always have been. I contacted Estes and we determined these are from the late 60's or early 70's. Given my age I am sure they are from the 60's when my father purchased them.
Each tube is sealed....I opened one of them and they contain 3 motors, an ignitor wire and instruction sheet. A Calif. state fire marshal sticker is attached on the outside. They appear to be model A 8.2 and 8.3.
If anyone is interested in these and/or can tell me the value I would appreciate it....I want to get them out of my shop as I am downsizing and have enough stuff of my own.
Feel free to e-mail at [email protected] and I will get back to you...
Cheers.........Greg M.
